Simian Ghost are now signed Super Mon Amour for booking in France, who represents many of our favorite bands (Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Black Dice, Animal Collective, M83, Deerhunter, Gang Gang Dance, Jamie XX, Neon Indian, Wild Nothing, Real Estate etc etc etc)!
This post turned into somewhat of a namedrop fest, but sometimes that is warranted. Happy happy!

I slutet av februari och i början av mars kommer våran debutskiva som band, Youth, att släppas. Detta tänker vi fira hårt och mycket!
Tillsammans med våra vänner och samarbetspartners ställer vi till med fest, först i Stockholm på Riche och sedan i Umeå på Scharinska Villan!

Vi kommer under båda kvällarna även ha en liten utställning av Weronika Belas fantastiska foton som vi använt till omslaget!

Today we give you the Wolf Girl remixes! They’ll be officially released around the same time as the album, but until then we’re giving them away for free through our facebook page!

The remix package includes five beautiful reworkings of the first Youth single. For two of the artists, Dunklet and Cloud Nation, this remix package marks their debut release! Be sure to keep your eyes on them.

DÖDEN is a minimal techno act from Malmö, who not only gave us a great remix but a video too! Check it out below.

Then we have an offering from Stockholm´s dream pop ambassador Summer Heart. Always a pleasure.

Lastly the online package includes a wonderfully schizophrenic remix from Norwegian up and comer Torkelsen.

The major leuge UK music magazine “Q” has chosen to post my statement on SOPA and PIPA on their guest column, (along with a two year old video and photo).

Also our new single Wolf Girl got rotation on P3!

Last night our upcoming second single from Youth, named Curtain Call, was aired on BBC Radio 1! The song is “Next Hype” on the very influential Zane Lowe’s programme! Awesome squared.
